A good flashlight is not hard to find, what with the many different kinds of flashlights in the market today. We're not talking about your standard flashlights you find in your neighbourhood store, we're talking about industrial strength, extremely powerful and durable flashlights. This site gives you all the information you need about flashlights - especially led flashlights!
Blind, but now I see
My life has been very sheltered to the world of illumination. I always thought if you had a 6 D-cell flashlight you pretty much had the top dog. Flashlights were always fun to play with but quickly got boring. They never seemed that bright. Nowhere near the brightness of the sun.
One day, however, I met another person who had a palm size flashlight that was light in weight and looked cooler than any other flashlight I had seen. That is not what caught my eye though. It wasn't until he hit me with a short burst in the eyes that I truly saw the light. I had blind spots for minutes afterwards. It is to that person and SureFire that I owe that experience and the knowledge that there is a flashlight that rivals the sun at a glance. I'm sure that if the sun decided to quit its job, the makers of SureFire flashlights would fill in for it.

Brilliant? Yes, we are. And now, so are you.
I have never seen a more amazing light! A friend of mine pulled out this spotlight beam as we were outside looking for deer. I couldn't believe the light illuminating from this tiny-sized flashlight! Brilliant! I must have one for myself and many more for all the avid sportsmen/outdoorsmen in my family! Brilliant!

Can't see up, but can see down
Several of my friends had been raving about their SureFire lights, so I decided to get one myself. Little did I know my new SureFire C2 Centurion would soon be vital in getting me home safe early one morning. I'm an astronomer and I periodically travel to mountaintop observatories. The first night of our observing run we couldn't open the telescope because of high humidity and fog. The mountaintop was sitting in a cloud, cutting visibility practically to zero. Because we weren't getting any data that night, I decided to head back to the observer's house a little early, about 3:30 a.m.
I didn't know my way to the house very well, but my new C2 with a red filter pierced the dark and fog so I could at least see a few meters in front of me. This allowed me to follow the edge of the path and safely stay on it. I was able to use my C2 to illuminate tourist signs pointing out various telescopes to figure out I was heading down the wrong road, and eventually made it safely to the house. I can only imagine how much more dangerous that fairly short walk would have been in my sleep deprived state without the power and dependability of the C2.
Since that night, I don't go anywhere without my SureFire light close at hand. Thanks, SureFire, for making an incredible light.

Cheer spread by SureFire's North Pole distributor
Last Christmas I sent a SureFire G2 Nitrolon to each of my brothers-in-law. One is a military intelligence officer, independently wealthy and, needless to say, hard to impress. The other is an avid sailor and outdoorsman. They are always appreciative, but this Christmas they each called very early and went on and on about how much they like the lights. Over the next several months hardly a conversation went by without some comment about how much they enjoyed using the lights. Keep up the good work and thanks for building such a great product.

Near miss clarifies "no compromise" policy
I received a SureFire G2 Nitrolon as a present, and I truly am impressed. I do lots of bike riding and was on my way back home one night. My home was three miles away but the sun was setting already and it was becoming dark. By the time I got on the main road where there were cars it was completely dark. I wasn't planning on using it, but the SureFire light saved me when I saw a car approaching. I flashed it at the car's windshield and the driver, who wasn't paying attention, saw the bright light and swerved to the left and missed me.
Now I know what you mean when you say, "Failure is not an option and there can be no compromise." SureFire is the light to get, especially if your life depends on it.

SureFire so bright, co-workers gotta' wear shades
I purchased an E2E Executive Elite and was extremely surprised at how bright the light was. I was also very impressed that there wasn't any focusing required. I currently work on an offshore oil rig and your products come in handy all the time. Unfortunately, I no longer have the E2E as it was "liberated" from my possession while I was working in Mexico. I have had severel people admire your products.
One night I was awakened at 2:30 am to fix a piece of vital equipment on the derrick. I was working approximately 150 feet up on the derrick in a riding belt and I used the E2E as a signaling device to tell the driller to either raise me up or lower me down. By the time I got back to the drill floor the driller had put his darkened safety glasses on as he said my light was too bright!!!
I am currently using a G2 Nitrolon as I can't justify spending the extra money just to have another E2E "liberated." I love the G2 as well, the only feature that I really miss is the belt clip.
Keep up the great work guys. Your products are hands down the best there is.

No longer naked, thanks to SureFire
I'm a college student in Richmond, Virginia, a great city but not exactly the safest town in America. I also work security at a dorm on campus, so I'm always dealing with rowdy college kids and troublemakers off the street. Our school doesn't permit knives or guns on campus, but I feel naked without some sort of protection in the line of work I do. That's why I carry the super, lightweight E2D Executive Defender It's perfect for lighting up dark alleyways or even the dorms when the power goes out. Plus, it has the strike bezel so in a worst case scenario, I'm not left defenseless. I love my SureFire. I don't leave home without it.

Severance package includes SureFire
I learned of SureFire flashlights through a friend who highly recommended them after he attended a self-defense class that used them.
As a maintenance director I bought SureFire E2D Executive Defenders for all my staff, many of whom work after dark.
One of the employees resigned, turned in his keys, and said, "You're gonna have to wrestle me for the SureFire, I really want to keep it." I let him have it and just ordered another for the new hire.
Thanks for a great product.

SureFire kiln the competition at scene of fire
I was doing a site walk of an old glassware manufacturing plant that had a kiln fire two years earlier. There was no power to the building but extreme light was needed to look for possible asbestos and signs of lead paint before the building was torn down. The plan was to use some regular 2 D-cell flashlights with kryptonite bulbs, my regular flashlight, and my boss's SureFire as a back-up.
The other flashlights, although bright, couldn't hold a candle to the SureFire. It really lit up the basement and allowed us to see standing water that was part way up the stairs from fighting the fire two years ago. It was like bringing daylight from outside indoors.
After the project was finished and my boss's SureFire returned, I bought the lighter plastic version and carry it in my backpack.
I am still amazed how such a small unit can literally light up the night. Good job.

Unforgettable? That's what we are.
I am a licensed master plumber. I use the SureFire G2 Nitrolon all the time. It is outfitted with an extra rechargeable battery, with the charging adapter in my truck. My mechanics swear that these are the best lights they have ever used.
Plumbers have to go into many dark areas in buildings. With this light they have increased productivity and safety. I have issued them to my men at my own expense; they are very grateful. I have had customers ask me where they might purchase them.
Over the years I have replaced 75 drop lights that were left behind on the job. In the last five years, not one G2 was ever left behind on any job. Thank you.

SureFire towers above the rest
I own and manage a specialized tower inspection company. We are usually working in little or no light conditions, high humidity and dust. I "estimate" that over the last 15 years or so, we have spent well over $1000 on flashlights and batteries of all brands and quality. None has been reliable. About 1-1/2 years back I saw a SureFire ad in a gun magazine. After receiving the most excellent catalog, and several informative phone calls with SureFire, we ordered one E2D Executive Defender to try. It was incredible and we now have four, plus one A2 Aviator. The LED on the Aviator is perfect for flash photography in minimal light without leaving a white blur on the photo. My inspectors love them and we have not spent one dime on flashlights or batteries since.
Keep up the good work.

Flashlights fine, but he'd rather go buy rail
Yeah, your lights are great , but let's hear about the other products.
All I can say is.....wow! Your M73 Picatinny Rail Forend is the best out there. I did my shopping and compared all of the available hand guards out there. I cannot say enough about your "M" model. By far this is the best engineered device I've ever seen!
When it arrived and I saw how the M73 mounted on the weapon, I was beside myself. I have never been so pleased with an "Attachment" than I am with your M73 Forend. The engineering of it has surpassed all out there. I am in no way showing favorites....This is just the truth. Yours attaches in such a way that it doesn't move one centimeter at all. The M73 is rock solid, lets the muzzle breathe, and with the lower front end (at the 'six' position) being a half inch longer, my bi-pod takes up less real estate on my weapon.
I have bragged about your "M" series to all my "Black Rifle" buddies out there! Keep up the great work SureFire!

SureFire light so effective, it pays for itself
I'm a police officer for the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Police Department in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was working in the Berkeley area when I received a domestic violence call. While en route to the call, my dispatch advised me that the suspect had departed the scene.
When I arrived, I began an area check and located the suspect a few blocks from the station. The suspect ran and jumped into a yard and fled. Once I had cover, I began a search of the yard I last saw the suspect enter.
Some months before this, my department changed weapons to a Sig Sauer 226 DAO with light rails. I purchased the X200 LED WeaponLight and attached it to my weapon. What a difference it made! Instead of using a separate light, I was able to illuminate the search area with my WeaponLight and keep a firm grip on my weapon. Also, the brightness of the LED light lit up the immediate area brighter than my conventional flashlight could have.
That night, the light paid for itself. I also want to add that although the X200 is advertised as "high drain," after having the light for six months, it illuminates just as bright now as it did the day I bought it.

SureFire stars in professor's studio productions
I LOVE SureFire Lights! I had a 6P Original for many years, gave it to a friend, and soon found I couldn't live without it! I replaced it with an E2E Executive Elite, an E1E Executive Elite, a L2 LumaMax, a couple of 9P Originals, a C2 Centurion, several G2 Nitrolons, a Z2 CombatLight, and my all-time favorite, a M6 Guardian (which is truly incredible!). I also bought several others which I gave to family and friends…guess you can say I've become strongly addicted to your lights as have many of my friends.
I work as a television and film professor, and director of production for a university in Florida. Not a day goes by that I don't find myself in dark studios, reaching behind consoles or trying to illuminate a set location. The E1E truly is a marvel as it enables me to make the right connections or throw the right switch, often buried deep in the recesses of an electrical cabinet. The G2s are often used to point to where a light should be mounted high up on the lighting grid, or show others the "throw" of a light or the perspective of the camera. We even have used a SureFire mounted on a $177,000 film camera as an eye light while shooting a music video.
The M6 Guardian is simply incredible…I can't say enough about it! I carry it on location with me constantly and it has come in very handy to illuminate the production slate, or to ensure we've not left anything on a dark location when wrapping our gear.
Thanks for making such incredible products!

Scout's Honor: SureFire flashlights the best
My Boy Scout troop took a trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota this summer. It was a week of complete isolation from civilization and I brought three of my trusty SureFire flashlights with me: the E2L Outdoorsman, the L2 LumaMax, and the G2 Nitrolon. (I am a light collector and, even with my collection, the selection of these lights was a no-brainer ) I used them all every night and they preformed to my highest expectations. The E2L was my smaller spotlight, which I used to see things on the water when fishing. The L2 was my edc (everyday carry light) which I used for everything from seeing in my tent with its low mode, to flooding the entire campsite with its high mode. The G2 was my high-power spotlight used to identify animals in the woods.
SureFire lights are truly the best of all lights. After collecting lights, starting with my Maglite® and working up to SureFire, I have found that there is no replacement for these lighting tools.
Thanks SureFire, you make life a whole lot easier for us scouts!
