  2. Got this for my wife for Christmas to keep in her purse.

It feels a lot more solid than similarly priced and featured flashlights. It’s not made by S&W, but rather another company. It’s still better quality than the other multi-LED small flashlights you can get.

The battery pack rattles slightly when you move the flashlight, which is the only gripe I really have about it.

It’s not regulated, so as the batteries die the light will get dimmer, but this is to be expected for lights in this price range. It’s also not terribly bright, although it’s more than bright for most home uses. Feels very solid.

I compared it to my Olight with its various lumen levels and it seems like this light puts out somewhere around 15 lumens.

If you need a flashlight for tactical use, or you need something brighter, which would only cost you about $30-40 more. I would recommend the Fenix P2D (minimum 12 lumens, maximum 180 lumens). It uses one high quality Cree LED rather than 9 lower quality LEDs.

I would definitely recommend this light.

I’ll amend this review should anything go wrong with the light.

  3. PROS:

    nice looking and well made.

always works when you need to use it.

for a 9 led flashlight it is bright for it’s small size.

    CONS: None.

  5. I also have one of the $5 Super-Bright 9 LED flashlights and the S&W is the exact same beam. The S&W does feel more solid; but, at this time I don’t know the longevity of either.

I would recommend that you save your money. Four $5 flashlights = 1 S&W.
